Then comes the unusual part: the juice ferments in small used oak barrels and stays there for a full year. That is a path most people keep for reds and orange wines, not for rosé.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe result is intense on the nose and on the palate, yet still easy to drink, at 12.5% alcohol. A rosé for people who say they do not drink rosé.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch4\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eWINEMAKING\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/h4\u003e\u003cp\u003e100% Cabernet Sauvignon from marlstone and clay soils, harvested in late September. The grapes are pressed directly and the juice ferments in small used oak barrels. The wine then ages in the same barrels for 12 months before bottling. Labelled as a Dry Rosé Wine with RGI (Regional Geographical Indication) Posavje, certified organic, 12.5% alcohol. Keltis has been certified organic since 2009 and Demeter certified since 2022.
