The grapes are picked by hand and given a short, two-day skin maceration before pressing — enough to add a little texture without pushing the wine into orange territory. It then ages for 12 months in large oak barrels.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eNo fining, no filtration, nothing added beyond what fermentation itself produces. A straightforward, acid-driven Riesling built for easy, unfussy drinking, at 12.0% alcohol.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch4\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eWINEMAKING\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/h4\u003e\u003cp\u003e100% Riesling, hand-harvested from 16–25 year old vines on schist, clay and limestone soils in Bizeljsko. The grapes see two days of skin maceration before pressing, then age for 12 months in large oak barrels. No fining, no filtration and no added sulphites — like all fermented wine it contains some naturally, hence the sulphites declaration on the label. Labelled as a Dry White Wine with RGI (Regional Geographical Indication) Posavje, certified organic, 12.0% alcohol. Keltis has been certified organic since 2009 and Demeter certified since 2022.
