A sparkling drink that behaves like something you would order with dinner. Bulles de Jardins is the second range from Alix and Henry: ready to pour, dry, and made for the table rather than the aperitif hour. This one is their bestseller. Bergamot and lemon up front, then the rosemary takes over and the whole glass turns savoury, closer to a kitchen than a bar, with a light zesty bitterness at the end. Jardins suggest a lemon confit chicken tagine or a Caesar salad. We would add anything with olive oil and herbs on it.

Made in the Cognac region by blending macerates, infusions and extracts of organic plants. An infusion of rosemary, an infusion of bergamot and lemon, organic grape must and natural plant flavours, with water and bubbles. Nothing is dealcoholised: it never contained alcohol. No added sugar. Bottled under cork.

Serve well chilled, around 6–8°C. Put it in the fridge for 30 minutes before opening. Already cold? Open and pour straight away.

Pour into a white wine glass. No ice, no mixing needed. A light natural sediment may form: turn the bottle gently before opening. Once open, keep it in the fridge and finish within a few days.
