FAQ — Stranger Wine Club
How does the subscription work?
You're charged the moment you subscribe. If you sign up between the 1st and 20th, your box ships that same month. If you sign up between the 21st and 31st, you're still charged right away, but you're automatically moved to the next month — your first box ships the following month instead.
When will I be charged?
You're charged the moment you subscribe, and then on the 1st of every month after that. For example, if you join on September 5th, you're charged that day and your box ships in September. Your next charge is October 1st, for October's box.
How do I manage my subscription?
Everything lives in your personal account — skip a month, pause, or cancel, whenever you like.
Can I skip a month, or pause for a holiday?
You can manage all of that in your personal account. If you'd like your box delivered on a specific date, just reach out to us at team@stranger.wine and we'll arrange a day that works for you.
Can I give it as a gift?
Yes — just select Gift Membership as your purchase option instead of the Monthly Subscription.
How much does shipping cost?
Free within Germany and Poland. Everywhere else in Europe, shipping is a flat €10.

We created the Wine Club for the thrill of the unknown. Every month, club members join our sommelier Zhenya and that month's winemaker for a live tasting — opening one wine from the box and telling you the story behind them.
