NORMA 2025

Norma is Naboso's answer to what patience does to Grüner Veltliner and Welschriesling — two grapes usually prized for their tension, given here nine unhurried months to soften instead. Half the blend ages in acacia and oak, half in stainless steel, all of it left on its fine lees without racking, so nothing is rushed and nothing is disturbed. The result is unlike most of what comes out of the Little Carpathians: round where the region's whites are usually taut, creamy where they're usually mineral. It's the wine Nadja and Andrej reach for when a lean, high-acid white would say too little.
