THE STORY

Tozot is an indigenous Armenian grape from Vayots Dzor — the same province where the world's oldest winemaking evidence was found in the Areni-1 cave. From a 6,000-year-old wine region, a grape most people have never heard of, made into a style that barely existed in Armenia five years ago. Rosé pét-nat, ancient grapes, youngest generation. That's the whole contradiction — and it works.

WINEMAKING DETAILS

Handpicked indigenous Tozot from Tavush, Armenia. Méthode Ancestrale — bottled before fermentation completes, no additions, no disgorgement. Nothing added, nothing taken away.

SERVING NOTE

Serve well chilled, around 7–9°C. Put it in the fridge for 40 minutes before opening. Already cold? You're good — open straight away.

Open slowly. This is a naturally sparkling wine with pressure inside — ease the cap off gently rather than popping it.

You'll see sediment at the bottom. That's the yeast that made the bubbles. Completely normal — leave it there or swirl it in, up to you.
