THE STORY

Luxembourg is the only country outside France permitted to use the word "Crémant" for its sparkling wines — a designation earned by the quality of the traditional method here. Soulstorm isn't a Crémant, but it's made by the same logic, taken further. The 2022 vintage spent 33 months on the lees in bottle before disgorgement in December 2025. For context: Champagne requires a minimum of 15 months. This is more than double.

Three years of slow autolysis build the kind of fine, persistent bead and toasty complexity that can't be rushed. The blend is Elbling, Riesling, and Pinot Blanc — cool-climate varieties that bring natural acidity and mineral tension to the base wine. Zero dosage. 1,008 bottles made. What you taste is exactly what the wine is.

WINEMAKING DETAILS

Direct press of Elbling, Riesling, and Pinot Blanc. 5 months élevage in 80% old oak barrels and 20% stainless steel. Traditional method: 33 months sur lie in bottle, disgorged December 2025. Residual sugar 0.4 g/l. Total sulphites under 8 mg/l.

SERVING NOTE

Serve well chilled at 7–9°C. Open carefully — 33 months on the lees means the wine is alive. Pour slowly into a wide glass rather than a flute to let the aromas develop. No need to decant.

The crown cap is a deliberate choice, not a shortcut. Many natural winemakers prefer it for traditional method wines — it seals better during lees ageing and lets less oxygen in at disgorgement. Same wine, different closure.
